I found it odd. A little strange. But these things. Happen. I thought.

I smiled. Okay. I’ll be back. On Wednesday. For our next date.

They said again. Two ladies. I didn’t know. In his office. They showed me out.

He was not there.

I thought. On my way home. Wednesday. We’ll try again. It’s okay.

He is not here.

She said. On the telephone. Sorry. There is little else. Left to say.

He was here.

We found him. Still sleeping. From the night before. Just before you came.

He was here.

Now he is. On his way.

He is here.

In our hearts. And memories. His mission done. His energy.

He is here.

He touched me.
